What Is Echocardiography?

I'm Going To Abex!

I'd just accept an offer from Abex as an application specialist in cardiac. Soon i'll be leaving my lovely friends in PPUKM. I'm going to miss all the sweet memories with them.They are all nice to me all these years. The professors, specialists, specialist-to-be's , the houseman, officers, sonographers, staff nurses, clinic assistants, ppukm nannies, guards and each and everyone I know. It's hard to believe that I am going to leave this centre as I truly love working as a sonographer here. But, there is something that makes me have to go on. If it means I have to go somewhere else, I have to do so. For me, for my husband, for my son and for my family. To change my destiny for the best of all.

Next Monday I will have an interview for Application Specialist. Dunno what and how to prepare myself for the interview.

Things To Do:

1. Resume CHECKED
2. i/c photo CHECKED
3. nice and proper attire CHECKED
4. certficates CHECKED
5. self confidence NOT YET...hehehe...

Mozilla Is The Best!

I've been using Mozilla browser for quite sometimes since I first started as a blogger. I'd tried to use Internet Explorer Last week. It's only last about four days and I gave up! The browser is so slow, and easily hang or closed down by itself. With Mozilla everything well smoothly and I save more time for blogwalking.Yeay!

It's Like Baby, Baby, Baby No~

Suddenly my head is filled of Justin Bieber song-Baby. Why? because of this pic of a cute little fetus. This fetus is just 12 weeks. Actually the patient came for NT screening but she ask me if it possible for me to take a 3D pic for her. I rarely do this since the fetus is still small but, since she ask for it, I snap only one pic for her album. Here it is....

I know, the fetus is turning away from me. He/she might think that I'm bothering him/her with the sound waves and whatsoever (sorry~) or he/she is too shy to greet me (sweet~)

Toshiba Aplio

This pic is taken using Toshiba Aplio machine. The newest high end machine we have in our Fetomaternal Unit. Really happy to snap this pic! yeay!

This machine has all the features any sonographer needs. With the price, I think it is quite affordable. The most important is the after sales service is superb! Thanks to Abex esp Jess, Kak Anson and Afiq!

OMG! My computer crashed again!

My computer crashed again for the second time since 2006! Arghh! The PTM said he only need one day to repair it. One day without my beloved computer (Not exactly mine, but sort of...hehe), I'm gonna be lonely... Now I'm using my friend's computer. But of course it won't feel the same way I feel when I use my own computer.....:o(

Just got a call from BP healthcare for an interview on Friday. Hmm it has been a long time since my last interview. What will they expect from me? Wonder??? What ever it is, I am asking you guys, please pray for my success....Hopefully there's something new and better for me somewhere out there..:o)

We actually had this farewell lunch a week before Ramadhan. Since our fellow specialist had completed his training in our Fetomaternal Unit, he treated us with a stomachful lunch. Thanks Dr Nik!

Private Sector v/s Gov Sector

This morning, I'd just got a phone call from my senior sonographer. She ask me if I'm interested in finding new job with new challenges. I thought she was just kidding with me. But it was totally not a joke and it's real! She was offering me a job with this big company! I'd always thinking about getting a job from this company but never had a nerve to do so since I am not a risk taker. I love challenges but I rather stick to the comfort zone I 've been in all this while. But working for almost 7 years in gov sector, makes me craving for something more in every aspect. Salary wise is for sure. It is an application specialist they are offering. Since I love meeting new people, I guess this is the best job offer for me. What you guys think? Should I go for it?

MFM Meeting 2010

We just had a meeting with our Head of Unit. The meeting went well of course. I'm glad that every opinion I made were being heard by everyone in the meeting. We are going to organised a basic course end of this year and I really can't wait! I love doing this kind of activities especially in sharing and gaining knowledge. Hope can update with you the details very soon and also hoping that the participant may be YOU!
